Dmitriy Astakhov

Dmitriy is a Russian born visual artist, illustrator, designer, filmmaker and educator based in Southern California. His interest in storytelling and the human figure have lead him on different artistic paths, from traditional, classical drawing and painting to digital illustration and filmmaking. His work, which is accompanied with a cultural twist, is constantly evolving as he experiments with techniques, themes and media. Some of the themes revolve around history, mythology, literature art and film.
